streetwise community

Streetwise Community is our big dream for the future.

Our dream is to build schools from nursery to secondary, where vulnerable children can attend for no cost, be provided nutritious food and good quality education. The graduating students with proficient academic results will be supported to apply for scholarships and learn the skills to be successful students. Other students can undergo vocational training, which will also be open to people in the broader community.

There will be houses for children who need a foster care family, with a designated carer for each family. We hope to build a playground and have space for football, netball, and basketball courts so that the children can play and enjoy.

We will have a farm to provide food for all the students and workers, and maybe some income. Our environment is important, so we are looking into eco-bricks and eco-friendly composting toilets. We hope to be a place for recycling, reusing, and upcycling.

Streetwise Community will be a place open to people who are in need of food, a safe place to sleep and help to get their life on track.

Other things we would like to do, is to build a library and have a museum with a shop to exhibit art and sell locally produced goods.

For now, this is all a dream. But dreams might come true <3
